Swing suspension bridge in the Tsingy De Bemaraha National Park. The park was been made accessible by ANGAP, and they have done a superb work of making it easy -though still scary..- to visit these impressive rock pinnacles. This bridge crosses one deep canyon.

This was also shot during my walk on the beach. Malagasy children are beautiful and love to be photographed. When they see you with a camera, they all arrive and ask for pictures for the joy of seeing themselves on the LCD screen afterwards!

I like this shot of locals going up the Tsiribihina river. They use these sticks to push their boats forward as the river is rarely very deep.

Lemurs are fascinating animals to observe in the wild. I hope this will still be possible for a long time. During my trip to Madagascar, I have witnessed large-scale deforestation happening right in front of my eyes at a rate that I found absolutely alarming. I really hope things will change soon and that this miraculous wildlife will be preserved.

A view of the valley packed with rock formations in the Tsingy De Bemaraha National Park. This is the part of the park known as Le Grand Tsingy, which has the most impressive and biggest rock pinnacles. The other part, Le Petit Tsingy, is the smaller brother, but is definitely still worth a visit.
